Ada Mae Lock, 105, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, September 1.
Ada was born in Visalia, Kentucky on April 22, 1921, to Sydney Thomas Jones and Daisy M. Wallege Jones.
Ada packed a lot of living into her 105 years and remained active and sharp until the very end. She always maintained a meticulous home and even stayed busy these past couple of months keeping her room nice and neat at Ambassador Health Care.
Ada’s greatest treasure was her family, whom she enjoyed spending time and making memories with. She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping crafts, sewing and bowling. Ada was a member of Chapter #49, Order of Eastern Star.
Ada will be missed by her daughters, Becky Wogoman and Brenda Feaster; son & daughter-in-law, Ron & Sherry Spurrier; 13 grandchildren, 23 eight great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles H. Lock; son, Charles “Chuck” Spurrier; grandson, Scott Feaster; daughter-in-law, Judy Spurrier; sons-in-law, Dan Wogoman and Charles Feaster; brother, Sam Setters.
Family and friends may gather from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Union Township Cemetery in West Chester, Ohio.
