Alyza Sifford

   Alyza Tenneil Sifford, 13-month-old daughter of Matt & Jenn Sifford, passed away on Sunday, January 28.

   Alyza was born on December 15, 2022, in New Castle, Indiana. She was a beautiful, happy child who always wanted to be near her siblings. She loved music and dancing, and had recently taken her first steps. She had learned to say “Mom”, “Dad” and “Hi”. She loved animals and was almost ready to say “Cats”, with “Ats” being good enough for the time being. She loved her 2 kittens, Boots and Jasmine

   Alyza will be greatly missed by her parents, Matt & Jenn Sifford; her big brothers & sisters, Branden O’Hara, Seraphim Sifford, Natalie Hemlin, Austin Sifford, Mattias Hemlin, Ryli Bradford, Ryin Bradford and Hailee Sifford; maternal grandparents, Michael & Rebecca O’Hara; paternal grandmother, Shelly Landis; paternal grandfather, Don Sifford; paternal great-grandparents, Tim & Margo Barkhurst; uncle & aunt, Tell & Kelly Sifford; aunt & uncle, Michael & Kate O’Hara.

   Alyza was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Landis.

   Public visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 10 at Smith-McQuiston and Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South in Fountain City. 

   Alyza’s family will hold a private service to celebrate her life.
