Andrew H. “Andy†Ellison, 48, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 28 at Reid Hospital.
He was born March 28, 1964 in Richmond to Donald, Sr. and Charmaine Winifred Spalding Ellison. He was a hard worker and was formerly employed by Cummings Bros. and Transilwrap before illness prevented him from continuing. Andy was a member of Gateway Vineyard and enjoyed hunting and fishing and building models.
Andy will be missed by his wife, the former Debbie Weiss, whom he married December 30, 1985; sons, Jacob Ellison and Damien Ellison, both of Richmond; siblings, Paul (Chandra) Ellison, Lester Ellison, Donny (Cheryl) Ellison, Paul Ellison, Veronica Ellison, Jo Ellen Ellison-Quiales and Heather (Tim) Caldwell, all of Richmond; Max (Sally) Ellison, Bradenton, FL; 2 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Thomas Ellison.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to help Andy’s family with expenses c/o PO Box 14, Fountain City, IN 47341.
