Bernie enjoyed a career as a tool & die maker for companies in Indiana, Michigan and Florida. He applied his trade skills to his love of working on just about all things mechanical. He was the proud owner of a 1953 Chevy truck and a 1939 Chevy Coupe that he rebuilt and fabricated parts for. He also caught the tractor bug. He didn’t care what color they were and was equally proud of his Farmall, Ford Jubilee and John Deere. He also did leatherwork and had recently developed an interest in working jigsaw puzzles. He always enjoyed going to breakfast with his son, Mark, and brother, Ray, at every opportunity. Bernie was a member of the Losantville United Methodist Church.

Bernie will be missed by his wife of 43 years, Luann E. Seymour Coyner; son, Mark Coyner & wife, Tammy; daughter, Michelle Miller & husband, Ron; grandchildren, Jim Coyner & wife, Amanda; Grace Moore; great-grandchildren, Kendall Coyner, Sophia Coyner and Maddox Coyner; brother, Ray Coyner; sisters-in-law, Linda Sagendorf, Christa Cook, Vicki Seymour and Jenna Coyner; several nieces, nephews and cousins and last but not least, his canine companion, Bandit Too.

Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James Lewis Coyner and George Lester “Tom” Coyner; mother & father-in-law, Dorothy & Wayne Seymour; brothers-in-law, Steven Seymour and David Seymour; and a canine companion, Bandit.
