Beth Ann Wilson

Beth Ann Wilson, 54, of Economy, passed away on Tuesday evening, September 15.

She was born in Richmond, Indiana on July 28, 1972, to David Lee & Patricia Ann “Patti” Baumer, both of whom preceded her in death.

Beth was a 1990 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She married Terry P. Wilson on September 2, 1990. They shared 36 years and were blessed with two children and three grandchildren.

Beth formerly worked as a surgical assistant in oral surgery. More recently, she worked in child care. She loved working with children and spending time with her growing family. Beth enjoyed her dog, Jack, taking care of her kitties, bird watching and gardening.

Beth will be missed by her husband of 36 years, Terry Wilson; daughter, Jessica Wilson; son, Matthew Wilson & wife, Joelle; grandchildren, Rebecca Coons, Andrew Coons and Hattie Wilson; siblings, Lori Kinnett & husband, Shane, Pat Baumer, Brent Baumer & wife, Ann, Chris Baumer; mother-in-law, Susie Wilson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, special friend Krista Barnett and her daughters Olivia, Gemma and Eliza. Beth is also survived by a number of special family and friends who came together to support Beth and her family in her final weeks.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Terry D. Wilson.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, September 21 at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.

Beth’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
