Beverly Ann Dunkin, 76, of Williamsburg, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Reid Health.
She was born on December 15, 1949, in Knox County, Kentucky, to James C. Hinkle and Wilma J. Townsely Hinkle Huff.
Bev attended beauty school and worked as a hairstylist for a portion of her life before devoting herself to her family as a homemaker. She shared a loving marriage of more than 50 years with her husband, Bobby. Bev found her greatest joy in her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and proudly cherished her role as “Granny.”
She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved pets and spent many years raising dogs. Bev was a creative spirit who enjoyed painting, and she had a passion for shopping, some would say she was a shopaholic. In her earlier years, she also enjoyed horseback riding, taking many trips to Brown County and found happiness in riding the trails with Bobby.
Bev will be missed by her beloved husband, Bobby Dunkin;daughters, Barbara (Roger) Cowin and Mendy (Kenny) Chamness; grandchildren, Taronna Hinkle-Whaley (Leo), Dorie (Hinkle) Weller (Dave),
Anthony (Rene) Huff, Lugene Huff, Lowell Huff Jr. and Jean Huff (Charles deceased). Jackie Wolfal, Bobby Chamness, Jessica Turner, Cassandra Blaine and Amber Stubblefield; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;brothers, Ronnie (Anita) Hinkle, Scott (Karla) Hinkle, Tony(Renee) Huff; and nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Darius Gene Stubblefield; granddaughter, Brandy Wiseman; sister, Joy Crews and a brother, Charles Lee Hinkle.
Bev’s family will celebrate her life together at a future date.
