Bonnie L. Reed

Bonnie L. Reed, 73, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 11 at Vancrest of Eaton in Eaton, Ohio.

Bonnie was born on April 3, 1952, in Greenville, Ohio to Wilbur J. & Kathryn L. Wills Musselman, both of whom preceded her in death. She married John L. Reed, Sr. on November 20, 1970. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage before his death on August 28, 2018.

Bonnie worked at the former Sheller Globe in Union City and later worked for Whirlpool. She enjoyed taking care of John’s cats, Fred and Sidewinder, until they could be re-homed.

Bonnie will be missed by her son & daughter-in-law, John, Jr. & Dawn Reed; 2 grandchildren, Samantha (Jesse) Tittle and Tyler (Gabby) Royer; 4 great-grandchildren, Hudson Tittle, Riggins Royer, Avery Williams and Aspen Williams; sisters, Goldie White and Cindy Ditty & husband, Don; brothers, James Musselman and Gary Musselman; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great-nieces & nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John L. Reed, Sr.; sisters, Judy McWhinney, Wilma Musselman, Roberta Schinding, Jenny Hofacker Fields and Phyllis Sherry; brothers, Delbert Musselman and an infant brother, Charles Musselman.

Bonnie’s family wants to give a special “Thank you” to the staff of Vancrest and Hospice of Dayton for the care and comfort they provided.

Bonnie’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 15 at the funeral home.
