Brenda K. Wadsworth

Mrs. Brenda K. Wadsworth, 72, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday morning, October 17.

Brenda was born on January 16, 1954, to Virgil James & Mary Fannie Messer York. She formerly worked for D&M and at one time was a Quality Inspector at Richmond Casting. She was a homemaker who enjoyed going to yard sales and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Brenda will be missed by her husband of 51 years, Henry E. Wadsworth, whom she married on August 2, 1975; sons, Henry E. Wadsworth and John Wadsworth & his wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Leeann Wadsworth, Henry Wadsworth and Fiona Wadsworth; brothers, Michael York & wife, Donna, Jim York, Larry York & wife, Laura, Jeff York & wife, Paula; sister, Linda Wallace & husband, John; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ivan E. York.

Services for Brenda will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, at the funeral home.
