Mrs. Carolyn A. Beth Jones, 67, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, June 19, at Golden Living Center Oak Ridge in Richmond.
She was born July 24, 1943 in Fountain City to Leondas and Ruth Helen Bragg Myers. She was a 1961 graduate of Fountain City High School. She was united in marriage to John F. “Jack” Jones on November 15, 1968 and shared 27 years together before his death on March 19, 1996. She was a member of New Garden Friends Meeting and attended Centerville Church of the Nazarene. She was formerly employed by Wayne Dairy and babysat area children for many years.
Beth will be missed by her sons, Ricky and Randy Jones, of Centerville; mother, Ruth Helen Myers, of Bay Minnette, AL; sister, Jane Snell, Bay Minnette, AL; brother, John Myers, Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, father, and brother, Bill Myers.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in New Garden Friends Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at the funeral home.
