Carolyn Sue Moore

   Carolyn Sue Moore, 85, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, January 4.

   She was born in Wayne County, Indiana on December 30, 1937 to James Kenneth & Ruth Mae Coomes Combs.

   Carolyn lived in the Richmond area all or her life. She worked as a cook for Vi & Quinn Tarquinio at the former Blue Note Restaurant, at the former Elder-Beerman restaurant as well as the former Rose Gate Nursing Home.

   Carolyn will be missed by her son, Ron Moore; granddaughter, Melissa Dawn Moore Clingenpeel & her husband, Frank; grandson, Matthew Lee Moore & wife, Whitney; great-grandson, Duncan Patrick Clingenpeel; and brother, Jimmy Lee Combs.

   Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Luther Alan Combs, John L. Combs, Billy Joe Combs, Donald Combs and Duane Combs; sister, Ruth Ann Combs Leffel.

   A private burial will be conducted at West River Friends Cemetery.
