Clara Kendall

Mrs. Clara M. Kendall, 55, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at her residence.


She was born June 27, 1953 in New Castle, Indiana to Eddie and Hazel Kendall Gorman, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised in the Knightstown area. Clara married Larry Kendall on October 28, 1977 and had lived in Fountain City since 1978. She enjoyed her grandchildren, solving word search puzzles, surfing on the internet and taking motorcycle rides with Larry.


Clara will be missed by her husband, Larry; daughters Ruth Crocker of Richmond and Jeannette Kendall of Fountain City; sons Mark Kendall and Larry Kendall, Jr., both of Richmond; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 sister, Emma Ashley of Brookville, IN.


A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Webster Cemetery at a later date.


Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, at the funeral home.
