Clyde E. Stewart III, 57, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, April 7, at Rosebud Village.
He was born on May 25, 1966, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania to Lynne Marcella Campbell Roark. Clyde was a 1985 graduate of Randolph Southern High School. He served in the US Navy from 1985-90.
Clyde worked in several manufacturing jobs over the years, including 10 years as a dock worker at the former Milso plant in Richmond. He later worked as a receptionist for Golden Living/Brickyard until his health forced him to retire. Clyde was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed collecting football cards and building puzzles.
Clyde will be missed by his wife of almost 3 years, Susan K. Stewart; mother, Lynne Roark; brothers, Keith Stewart, Kevin Stewart & wife, Stacey, and Neil Roark, Jr. & wife, Tammy; sisters, Connie Taylor & husband, Charles, and Carla Roark; stepson, Dalton Williams; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Clyde was preceded in death by Neil Roark, Sr., who raised Clyde as a son.
