Mrs. Donna D. Fields, 84, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, July 28, at Reid Health.
She was born on October 17, 1933 in Camden, Ohio to Joseph & Ruby Brandenburg Funkhouser. She was united in marriage to John F. Fields on July 29 1955. They were blessed with four children and 52 years of marriage before his death on April 7, 2007.
Mrs. Fields lived in the Richmond area most of her life and was a member of the Faith Trinity United Methodist Church. She worked at Brookside Laundry.
Mrs. Fields will be missed by her daughters & sons-in-law, Yvonne & Robert Snyder and Rhonda & Michael Sheets; son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Rosella Fields; son-in-law, Jamey Baker; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, James & Sharon Funkhouser; and her caregivers, Carol & John Curts, Jackie Roth and the staff at Hand-In-Hand Adult Day Care.
Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Zaneatta Baker, in 2007.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1 in Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Earlham Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged for the Hand-In-Hand Adult Day Care, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374.
