Duane Eggers

   Duane L. Eggers, 63, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday evening, November 20.

   He was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 15, 1959, the son of Russell R., Jr. and Helen Armstrong Eggers Ryan. Duane was a 1979 graduate of Northeastern High School. He retired after many years working as a mechanic and wrecker operator for Pardo’s Garage and later at Eggers Auto. He loved going on motorcycle rides and spending time with his family.

   Duane will be missed by his companion, Emily Stevens; mother, Helen Ryan; daughters, Kasey Eggers, Dannie Christen and Dallas Perry; brothers, Mike Eggers, Earnie Eggers and David Eggers; several grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

   David was preceded in death by his father, Russell Eggers, Jr.; daughter, Koty Eggers; sister, Darlene Eggers and brother, Daniel Eggers.

   It was Duane’s request that no services be held for him. He will be interred in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City.
