Eileen Terhaar, 86, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away on Saturday morning, December 20, at Forest Park in Richmond.
She was born on July 28, 1939, in Richmond, Indiana. She was raised by her grandmother, Alma Harris and lived most of her life in the Wayne County area. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Eileen will be missed by her children and their spouses, Lawrence, Jr. & Kim Terhaar, Pam & John Bockhofer, Kathy & Tim Snyder and John, Jr. & Jamie Terhaar; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elsie Terhaar, Jean Terhaar; brother-in-law, Larry Tornes; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friend, Paul Davis and all of the residents and staff at Forest Park.
Eileen was preceded in death by her grandmother; father, Marvin Harris; 1st husband, Lawrence Terhaar, Sr.; 2nd husband, John Terhaar, Sr.; son, Fred Mohler; daughter, Geraldine Kaucher; granddaughter, Rebecca; and sister, Marcia Harris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, at the funeral home.
