Mrs. F. Sue Vogelsong, 79, of Richmond, passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday, November 7.
   She was born on November 19, 1936 in Richmond to Howard and Frances Juanita Berry Newman. She was a 1955 graduate of Whitewater High School. Sue married Jan Vogelsong on August 19, 1956. They were blessed with three children and 60 years together.
   Sue worked 15 years at INA in Richmond before retiring. She later worked in the office of LN Concrete Company in Kentucky. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church. She loved to sew, cook and spend time taking care of her family and home.  
   Sue will be missed by her husband, Jan Vogelsong, Sr.; daughter, Vicki Sue Chapman (Gerry); sons, Jan Vogelsong, Jr. and Brent Vogelsong; grandchildren, Christen Chamberlain-Malice, Ryan Vogelsong, Tyler Vogelsong, Alyssa Lahr and Bronson Vogelsong; five great-grandchildren, sister, Betty Benner (John); and nieces & nephews.
   Sue was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Ellen Weirich and Carol Shonebarger; and brother, Joel Newman.
   A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Tim Branson and Pastor Don Miller at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
   Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 11, at the funeral home.
