Florence R. Leuzzi, 98, formerly of Fountain City, passed away on Tuesday, March 1 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 3, 1917 to Francis and Mary Daniels Odorfer. She and her husband, Thomas D. Leuzzi, retired to Fountain City from New York in 1977. While living here, they were members of St. Mary Catholic Church. Following his death in 1999, she moved to North Dakota to be near her daughter.
Mrs. Leuzzi will be missed by her daughters & sons-in-law, Arleen & Charlie Relli and Mary & David McCarty, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Leuzzi was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Thomas F. Leuzzi.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, in St. Mary Catholic Church, 720 North A Street in Richmond. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged for the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
