Gary Lee Jeffries, 54, of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, October 22, at his residence.
He was born October 10, 1957 in Winchester, Indiana to David “Jeff” and Bernetta Anderson Jeffries. Gary graduated from Northeastern High School in 1976 and served 5 years in the US Navy, receiving his honorable discharge in 1982.
Gary will be missed by his mother, Bernetta Jeffries, of Williamsburg; sister, Vicki Sue Robinson, of New Paris, OH; brothers, Jon Jeffries and his wife, June, of Fountain City; Hal Jeffries, of Milledgeville, OH; Chris Jeffries and his wife, Connie, of Washington Courthouse, OH; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his father David “Jeff” Jeffries, on July 10, 2007.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment with military rites will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department, 8323 North Centerville Road, Williamsburg, IN 47393.
