Gerald A. Girardi, 74, of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, December 29 at Reid Health.
He was born in L’Anse, Michigan on February 25, 1942 to Adolph and Marcella Rozine Girardi.
Jerry was a US Air Force veteran. He enjoyed a 38-year career with CCI Systems, Inc., starting on the ground floor and working his way up the ladder to become Regional Manager before his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking. He was also an animal lover and enjoyed feeding his raccoons and other wildlife around his home.
Jerry will be missed by his daughters & sons-in-law, Leslie & Tom Daniels and Jerilyn & Brandon Gray; son, Brian Girardi; four grandchildren, Nichole (Dan) Deau, Jessica (Andy) Maynard, Lance Gray and A.J. Gray; six great-grandchildren, sister, Lois Dinsmore; brother, Dennis Girardi; and several nieces & nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda Kay Girardi, in 2006; and son, Gerald Girardi, in 2006.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 3 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment with military rites will follow in Glen Haven Memory Gardens.
Family and friends may gather from 5-7 pm on Monday, January 2, at the funeral home.
