Geraldine Kaucher

Geraldine "Gerry" Kaucher, 51, passed away on Sunday, August 19, at Heritage House of Richmond.


Born December 6, 1955 in Wayne County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Lawrence, Sr. and Eileen Terhaar. Gerry was a 1976 graduate of Northeastern High School. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed making crafts.


Gerry will be missed by her mother and step-father, Eileen and John Terhaar, of Williamsburg; daughter, Amanda Kaucher, of Richmond; son, Richard Kaucher, Jr., of Richmond; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and John Bockhofer, of Union City, IN; Kathy and Tim Snyder, of Lynn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Kim Terhaar, of Centerville; John and Janie Terhaar, of Williamsburg and Fred and Linda Mohler, of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Thalia, Roberto Jr. and Thomas, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Gerry was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Terhaar, Sr. and 1 daughter, Rebecca Kaucher.


A memorial ceremony was conducted by Rev. Phil Baisley at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
