Hal D. Jeffries, 58, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, March 14, at his residence in Milledgeville, Ohio.
He was born June 23, 1954 in Richmond, Indiana to David “Jeff†and Bernetta Anderson Jeffries. Hal graduated from Northeastern High School in 1972. He was employed by Seed Consultants. Hal loved riding his Harley-Davidson, hunting and shooting but he loved his family and friends more than anything.
Hal will be missed by his children, Azure Jeffries, of Richmond and Wade Jeffries, of Indianapolis; mother, Bernetta Jeffries, of Williamsburg; sister, Vickie Sue Robinson, of New Paris, OH; brothers, Jon Jeffries and his wife, June, of Fountain City; Chris Jeffries and his wife, Connie, of Washington Courthouse, OH; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hal was preceded in death by his father, David “Jeff†Jeffries, on July 10, 2007; and brother, Gary Jeffries, on October 22, 2011.
A memorial ceremony will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from Noon – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at the funeral home.
