Harold W. Schneider

Harold W. Schneider, 89, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
He was born February 7, 1922 in Richmond, Indiana to Homer W. and Agnes M. Lahmann Schneider. He married the former Margaret A. Arnett on January 5, 1945. They shared 63 years of marriage before her death on April 1, 2008.
Mr. Schneider was a US Marine Corps veteran of World War Two. He lived in South Bend, Indiana from 1949-2008, and Sun Prairie, WI since 2008. He retired from Kreamo after a 35-year career in sales with the company.
Mr. Schneider will be missed by his sister, Delores R. Snarr and her husband, Paul, of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Schneider was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 sisters, Stella Schneider and Mary Ellen Schneider and 1 brother, Arthur Schneider.
A prayer service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, at the funeral home.
