Helen Seider, 92, of Fountain City, joined her beloved savior on Monday, December 2.
She was born June 18, 1921 in Richmond to Fred and Iva Allen Vornauf. She was a graduate of Whitewater High School. She married Robert F. Seider on July 10, 1949 and shared 42 years of marriage until his death on May 5, 1992.
Mrs. Seider was a farm wife and homemaker. She also worked in bookkeeping at the former Second National Bank and People’s State Bank. She was a member of the Fountain City United Methodist Church and the Levi Coffin House Association. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching.
Mrs. Seider will be missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert L. “Bob†and Joan Seider and Richard A. “Rick†& Sandy Seider; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Mrs. Seider was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Marie Englebert.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, at the funeral home.
