James Stanley

November 30, 1941 — August 12, 2008

James C. "Jimmy" Stanley ascended into Heaven on Tuesday, August 12 at his home in Richmond.

He was born in New Castle, Indiana, the son of James Parker and Irene Beard Stanley, both of whom preceded him in death. He formerly served as a counselor in area group homes and was the former owner of My Father's Table in Richmond. He freely offered his personal testimony and enjoyed sharing his music ministry as an organist and pianist.

Jimmy will be missed by his former wife, Margie Stanley, of Whitesburg, Kentucky; his son and daughter-in-law, James Michael "Mike" and Tammy Stanley, of Whitesburg; grandsons, Dallas and Dustin Stanley, of Whitesburg; his sister and brother-in-law, Jewel and Larry Harris, of Williamsburg, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents a brother, Harold L. Stanley, preceded Jimmy in death.
