I can't believe I didn't hear of Jamie's passing until now, when I've read of the passing of is Father. I am in shock. My heart goes out to Geneva and family. I have only fond memories of my comic collector friend, Jamie, and his outstanding collection. The days spent passing time with him at Paperback Paradise were some great days, indeed! RIP, my friend.

Jamie and i were next door neighbors for seven years. We hunted, shot pistol run in the woods, deer hunted, shot archery tournaments together, and grew to love him and his family as friends and neighbors. Linda and I attended the funeral, and my heart was broken for Geneva, Trey, and Autumn. Life often carries but a few friends that you can always depend on and Jamie was one. Our prayers go with Jim,Lois, Geneva, Trey, Autumn, and all the family.

TO THE ENTIRE LADD FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. YOUR FAMILY WAS SUCH A LARGE PART OF MY CHILDHOOD GROWING UP IN WILLIAMSBURG. I WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FOR ALL OF YOU,BUT MY WIFE HAS LIVER FAILURE AND IS WAITING ON A TRANSPLANT. HER IMMUNE SYSTEM IS LOW, SO I HAVE TO AVOID LARGE CROWDS DURING THIS FLU SEASON. AGAIN MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY. STEVE COYLE

To Uncle Jim & Aunt Lois, Geneva, Tre, Autumn, Toby, Sue, Joe, Amy, Tom & Mary - "I love you all and you have my prayers for God's peace and comfort. He doesn't make mistakes and his grace is new every day." And for Jamie .. "Although we haven't seen each other in far too many years, I treasure our childhood times together. Especially at Grandma's. Our days here are all too short. They are meant to be a preparation for eternity. Seeking and serving Christ and loving and serving others is how it's done isn't it. I can only imagine Brandi's joy when she saw her daddy coming! Because of Christ we will have the privilege of yet another reunion, Jamie. I will miss you, but only until then". Love Donna Jean
