Janet Marie Rogers

Surrounded by loved ones, Janet Marie Rogers passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 1:10 p.m. She was 50 years old and had been battling breast cancer. We thank everyone who has been supportive and want everyone to know that she is now pain-free and in Heaven.
   She is survived by her son, Zane Green (Emily Jordan-Broughton); her grandson, William Green; her granddaughter, Lillie Green; her father, Walter Rogers; four of her sisters, Rebekah Hunt (Brian Smith), Deborah Brady, Amanda Jamero (Greg Jamero), and Stephanie Fletcher; her fiancé, John Weston; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
   Janet is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Rogers, and her sister, Carolyn Rakowicz (Paul Rakowicz).
   The viewing will be held at Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US Hwy 27, Fountain City, on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place immediately afterward at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery near Richmond.
   A Celebration of Life Reception will follow the burial at the Historic Meeting House at New Garden, located at 1334 New Garden Road, Fountain City.
