Mrs. Jeanette F. Lunsford Charles, 71, of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, July 6.
She was born in Richmond, Indiana on February 9, 1946 to Richard and Esther Druley Lunsford, both of whom preceded her in death. She retired from Dana in 2003 after 30 years of service. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanette will be missed by her husband of 14 years, Urban Charles, whom she married on March 22, 2003; daughters & sons-in-law, Ronda & George Burelison and Darla & Kenny Oler; son & daughter-in-law, Troy & Angie Herron; step-daughter & son-in-law, Shawne & Lance Whitsell; step-son & daughter-in-law, Evan & Candice Charles; 13 grandchildren, James Burelison, Jason Burelison, Emily (Nathan) Hart, Katie (Marc) McDugle, Dylan (Heather) Blunk, Elizabeth Herron, Tyler Herron, Mason, Morgan and Merek Whitsell, Caitlyn, Corey and Colby Charles; four step-grandchildren seven great-grandchildren, with #8 due to arrive any day now; sisters, Shirley Lunsford and Charlene George; cousins, nieces & nephews, including special nephew, Rick George & his wife, Maria, and sisters-in-law.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, July 10, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US Hwy 27 South, Fountain City.
