Joan Fulton, 84, of Whitewater, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.
   She was born in Bedison, Missouri on August 11, 1931 to Ferril Guy and Alta Olive Calhoon Thompson. She married Charles Robert “Bob” Fulton on March 10, 1951. They were blessed with three children and shared 61½ years together until his death on September 21, 2012.
   Mrs. Fulton was a homemaker most of her life and had helped Mr. Fulton in his work. She was formerly a 4-H leader and was a member of Order of Eastern Star.
   Mrs. Fulton will be missed by her daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Chris Bartram; son & daughter-in-law, Dwight & Pat Fulton; daughter-in-law, Pam Fulton; nine grandchildren, Amie Fulton-Wilson (Ali), Lee Ann Slick (Bo), Brandon Fulton (Ashley), Katie Fulton, Teresa Fulton, Gina March (Dennis), Rachel Marcum (Doug), Morgan Bartram and Jacob Bartram; ten great-grandchildren, Wyatt Davis, Montana Davis, Emma Slick, Addalyn Slick, Sammy Fulton, Charlie Fulton, Trinity Gipson, Olivia March, Andrew March and Alex Marcum; sisters, Rosemary Ardelt and Patricia Winters and several nieces & nephews.
   Mrs. Fulton was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob Fulton; son, Dwain Fulton on July 9, 2015; sisters, Thelma Barton and Bonnie Taulbee; brothers, Byrd, Bud and Jack Thompson.
   A memorial ceremony will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, in the Whitewater Christian Church, 7918 North State Road 227 in Whitewater. Family & friends may gather to visit from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
