Jonathan Daniel Burdsall, 43, of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, July 19.
   Born June 5, 1975 in Richmond, he was the son of Michael Keith Burdsall and Gail A. See.
   Jonathan was a 1994 graduate of Richmond High School and graduated from Ivy Tech. He met Stephanie Abrams on his 18th birthday and they were married on October 12, 1995. They were blessed with a son, Treyton Jon Burdsall. Jonathan’s life revolved around his family. Since the early days of flag football, basketball and T-ball, Jonathan coached Treyton’s teams, recently wrapping up the 2018 XPRESS Baseball season.
   Jonathan started working the day after he graduated, including Mosey Manufacturing and Dana Corp. He was a Journeyman Lineman for the past 15 years with RP&L, working as a lineman until recently transferring to Substation Maintenance as a Substation Electrician. He enjoyed his family vacations, especially to his retirement goal location, Siesta Key, Florida.
   Jonathan was a Miami Dolphins fan. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed smoking meats, cooking, entertaining family and friends. At the Fountain City Fireworks, he was the one who ran electricity to the food trucks.
   Jonathan will be missed by his wife, Stephanie; son, Treyton; mother, Gail See; paternal grandmother, Audrey Irene Burdsall; sisters, Sandra (Walter) Fawcett, Kristy (Scott) McConnell and Vicky (Ian) Smith; mother-in-law, Anita Abrams; brothers-in-law Tim Abrams and Todd Abrams; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended XPRESS Baseball family.
   Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Michael Burdsall; and father-in-law, David Abrams.
   Jonathan’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Earlham Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at the funeral home
   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are encouraged for Treyton’s education. Checks payable to Treyton Burdsall may be mailed to First Bank Richmond, 2499 Chester Boulevard, Richmond, IN 47374. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
