Judith Ann "Judi" Vervaet

   Judith (Judi) Ann Vervaet, 79, of Richmond, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 7. She had been surrounded by her family for the last two weeks.

   She was born on January 17, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana to Theodore Roosevelt & Marjorie Pauline Moore Sheets.

   Judi waitressed in Richmond, and was a well-loved home care nurse for over 30 years. She was such a great Mother that many of her children's friends also called her Mother. She enjoyed reading and being around people.

   Judi will be missed by her sons, James A. Vervaet, Richard G. Vervaet, Jr. and Chad E. Vervaet; daughter, Gloria A. Mullins and 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

   Judith was preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard C. “Cy” Vervaet; brothers, Mervin Sheets and Larry Sheets; nephews, Eric Sheets and Mike Sheets.

   She asked that we not mourn her death but Celebrate her Life. A Celebration of life party will be held soon. Updates on that will be posted by Richard as plans develop.
