June Downs

Mrs. June E. Downs, 88, formerly of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in Apopka, Florida.


She was born August 14, 1919, in Connersville, Indiana, the daughter of Austin W. and Minnie Gibson Swift. She was formerly an LPN and formerly co-owned and operated Richmond Aluminum Center with her late husband, Charles.


Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Bottomley, Longwood, Florida; grandsons, Leroy Neil Bottomley II and Robert Charles Bottomley; 2 great grandsons; brother, Robert Swift, Carmel, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins.


A graveside ceremony will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City.


There will be no public visitation.
