   Mrs. Katherine E. Reeves, 92, passed away on Friday, October 22 at Sterling House of Richmond.
   She was born September 6, 1918 in Richmond to Ira and Grace Dunn Hunt. She was a 1936 graduate of Whitewater High School and married Lawrence P. “Larry” Reeves on September 9, 1939. Their home was blessed with 3 children and they shared 63 years of marriage before Mr. Reeves’ death in December 2002.
   Mrs. Reeves was retired from Metropolitan Farm Mortgage Loans, where she was a bookkeeper and typist. She and her husband were longtime members of the Webster United Methodist Church and the Chester Heights United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Chester Community Homemakers Club and enjoyed gardening, growing roses, traveling and spending time with her family.                       .
   Mrs. Reeves will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Pastor Tim Cummings, of Richmond; son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Debbie Reeves, of Richmond; daughter-in-law, Linda Hubbell, of Fountain City; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
   In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Reeves, in 1986; sisters, Marie Von Pein and Mary Hunt; brothers, Harold Hunt and William Hunt; and half-brother, Ronald Hunt.
   A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Tim Cummings at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
   Family and friends may gather for visitation from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, at the funeral home.
