I haven't know Kathy very long as she was a new employee at the Courthouse.  But we had lunch together almost every day.  And in that short hour each day she shared a little more about herself and her life, and we became friends.  I will miss her laugh, her smile and her kind heart.

Kathy and I were friends in high school. Once we graduated I lost touch with her, but my mother would keep me informed when she visited at J. C. Penny's.  I've thought of her many times over the years. Sorry for the families loss and pray for courage and love to continue without her.
