Larry D. Haney, 61, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, October 21 at Reid Hospital.
He was born December 27, 1950 to JC and Janis Snyder Haney. He was a 1969 graduate of Union High School. Larry enjoyed the years he spent engaged in farming and agriculture. He later worked as a truck driver and was a service manager for several companies including Tom Raper RV. He enjoyed golfing, reading, tinkering and all kinds of racing.
Larry will be missed by his wife, Robin Haney, whom he married October 16, 1982; son, Jordan D. Haney, of Richmond; daughter, Kerry Beatty, of Modoc; mother, Janis Robinson, of Riverton, Wyoming; grandchildren, Erin, Ashten, Carmen, Logan, Cullen and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Marleigh and Caelen; sister, Penny Haney, of Riverton, Wyoming; several cousins and the children of his heart, Abby and Brandon.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, JC Haney.
Pastor David Anderson will conduct a funeral ceremony at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday.
