Larry Parker

   Larry Parker, 65, of Lynn, passed away on Monday, April 8, at Reid Health.

   He was born Lawrence E. Parker on November 20, 1958, in Richmond, Indiana to Billy Leroy Parker, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Hays Parker. Larry was a graduate of Northeastern High School.

   From an early age, Larry worked at his parent’s restaurant, The Blue Roof, north of Fountain City. He had a long career in the casket industry and formerly worked at Spartan Casket Company, York Casket Company and later at Milso Casket Company. He always enjoyed working with his hands and liked to cook for others. Larry was a people person who never met a stranger.

   Larry will be missed by his wife of 25 years, Kay Parker; sons, Jeff Parker and Michael Freeman, daughter, Michelle Marie Sparks; grandchildren, Jimmy Freeman and Cicely Freeman; sister, Pamela Parker; brother, Rick Parker & wife, Elena; and a niece, Kaycee Parker. 

   Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Parker, Jr.
