Although I didn''t have Mrs. Holder as a teacher in first grade at Randolph Southern, I did have many opportunities to interract with her usually during recess. She was a very kind, sweet, caring person who went out of her way to show that she loved her job as well as the children she taught or came into contact with. I loved her so much, I am so very sorry for your loss. Heaven has certainly gained an angel!

Mrs. Holder was my teacher at Randolph Southern and she truly made an impact on my life. She had such a generous, loving, patient way about her. We stayed in contact for several years. She really had a gift for making you feel like the most special student in the world. Looking forward to seeing her in our eternal home!

If only every child could begin 1st grade with such a inspirational educator. I believe that I was in her first class at Lynn(65). Although saddened by the news of her passing, it brings me joy to know that she was such a positive role model for so many.
In my thoughts and prayers,

So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Holder was such a wonderful teacher. She had, myself, brother and sister at Randolph Southern. I remember her with the fondest memories. We had a Raggedy Ann contest in first grade and she also painted all of us Raggedy Ann and Andy Christmas ornaments. Mine hangs in a special place on my Mom and Dad's tree every year. She was very well loved at Randolph Southern. May God bless you all and comfort you during this time.

Dear Elaine and Becky,
I was saddened to hear of your Mother''s death. She was a great lady and I have fond memories of her both as a substitute teacher at Williamsburg as well as from the Williamsburg United Methodist Church and our "growing up" years. Sorry I can''t be there to give you both a hug as we are in transit between Florida and Indiana. Know, that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during the next few days and weeks.

Mrs. Holder was my 1st Grade teacher at Randolph Southern and our class was her very last class. Later in elementary, we tease that we were so bad that we "retired" her. She was a WONDERFUL teacher and a loving, kind, and compassionate individual. You could see her love of Jesus by her love of all people. Over the years, I tried to keep in touch with her via letters and she always responded. She came to my class graduation at RS in 1990 and even got me an autograph dog for graduation. She also came to my wedding in 1991. What a blessing she was! She's dancing with her heavenly Father now and will be greatly missed I'm sure by many!
