Mrs. Martha E. Wright Miller Renschler, age 95, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on February 18, 1921 in Fountain City, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Johnson Wright. Martha was a 1939 graduate of Fountain City High School. On May 28, 1940 she was united in marriage to Howard Miller. They were married for five years until his death in May 1945 and were blessed with two sons, Norman Howard and Howard Duane, and three daughters, Joanne, Mary Louise and Elaine. On March 5, 1953 she was united in marriage to Elbert C. Renschler and this union was blessed with three sons, Kenny, Glen, Neal, and one daughter, Cheryl. She moved to the Renschler farm when they married and worked as a homemaker, devoted mother, farmer and owner of the family farm. Martha had also raised five foster children. She had been a member of the Kent Christian Church since 1953 where she served as the church treasurer for 35 years. Martha had helped with Vacation Bible School for several years, had received a plaque for reading the Bible four times through and helping with Wednesday night bible studies. She was a member of the Jefferson County Homemakers Club and was treasurer for twelve years, Smyrna Neighbors Homemakers Club since 1955, R.S.V.P., Kent Widows Club, enjoyed helping with Old Settler's Day at Neavill's Grove every year and was a director of Farm Bureau for ten years. She enjoyed her church, gospel music, tending to her flowers, reading, Sudoku puzzles, watching Hummingbirds and playing Rummy Cube with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and really enjoyed the babies. Martha was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and dear friend to many. She dearly loved all of her family and treasured each memory made with them. At the age of 92 she decided to take up oil painting and was proud to have completed four paintings. She attested her talent to the hands of her Lord and Savior. Martha died on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 2:20 p.m. at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Indiana.
   Martha will be missed by her loving sons, Norman Howard Miller and his wife Karen of Vevay, Indiana, Howard Duane Miller and his wife Linda of Hanover, Indiana, Neal Renschler and his wife Melanie of Madison, Indiana, Glen Renschler and his wife Margie of Madison, Indiana, Kenny Renschler of Indianapolis, Indiana; her loving daughters, Mary Louise Miller Lowry and her husband Bill of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elaine Miller Smith and her husband Roger of Lexington, Indiana, Cheryl Renschler Plonk and her husband John of Charlotte, North Carolina; her sister, Donna Faye Wright Wise of Elkahone, California; her loving grandchildren, Stephanie, Scott, Joyce, Tracy, Travis, Becky, Bryan, Robby, Cindy, Delana, Michael, Josh, Amanda, Jacob, Mandy, Derek, Jason, Freddie, Jeremy, Jamin, Mara, Ashley, David, & Sarah; her loving great grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Kelley, Alli, Ryan, Randy, Ashley, Anna, Madison, Devon, Addyson, Cody, Ella, Christian, Payton, Ashton, Emily, Taylor, Karrie, Dustin, Ty, Kameron, Jerzey, Audrey, Braylon, Kaylee, Christine, Cassie, Avian, Nolan, Kingdon and Irie; her great great grandchildren, Audrey, Elliot, Layne, Braxton, Kinsley, Kaylin, David, Makayla, Wyatt and Adrianna; her brother in law, Pastor Max Knight of Greensfork, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Wright, her mother, Ruth Johnson Wright, her brothers, Verl Wright and his wife, Opal and Lawrence Wright and his wife, Lois; her sisters, Mazella Knight and Janet Polley and her husband, Jim; her daughter and son in law, Joanne L. Miller Jenkins and her husband Boyd, her first husband, Howard Miller died in May 1945, her second husband, Elbert C. Renschler died on August 23, 1972; her brother in law, Harry Renschler and his wife, Ethel.
    Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Eric Knight at the Kent Christian Church, 8082 W State Road 256 in Kent, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Kent Cemetery in Kent, Indiana.
   Friends may call Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Kent Christian Church, 8082 West State Road 256 in Kent, Indiana.
