Martha J. Wood

   Mrs. Martha J. Wood, 96, formerly of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, March 9 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, Indiana.

   She was born on October 21, 1926 in Richmond to Walter E. and Ruth Hoover Mikesell, who preceded her in death. She was a 1944 graduate of Whitewater High School.

   Mrs. Wood was formerly a secretary at the Perfect Circle Sleeve Plant. She was a member of First Friends Meeting in Richmond. She enjoyed taking care of the farm in her younger years and gardening.

   Mrs. Wood is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Terry G. & Barbara Wood.

   She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Christeen Brown.

   Mrs. Wood will be buried in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City following a private graveside service.
