Marti Mills

Marti Lynn Mills, 53, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, December 27 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Marti was born on November 21, 1972, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, the daughter of Sylvia J. Fourman Van Tyle and John W. Wheeler, Sr. Marti was a 1991 graduate of Richmond High School. She formerly was a Customer Service Rep in the Hospitality Industry.

Marti is survived by her sons, Seth Mills and Joshua Mills; mother, Sylvia Van Tyle; father & stepmother, John W. & Jackie Wheeler; the little brother she never wanted, Jordan Fourman; brothers & sisters-in-law, John Jr. & Heather Wheeler, Gabe & Misty Wheeler, Matt & Heather Wheeler; sisters & brothers-in-law, Tammy & Bob Lovely, Stephanie Wheeler and Ranee & Sam Price; aunts, Lynette Bumbalough, Judy Ringley, Marilee Fourman, Linda Wheeler and Sarah & Charles Moore; Uncles, David & Anna Marie Fourman, Bill Fourman; and special friend, Jeremy Miller.

Marti was preceded in death by her stepfather, Philip Van Tyle; maternal grandparents, Viloet & Fred Fourman; paternal grandparents, Walter & Barbara Wheeler; aunt, Cynthis Chapman; uncles, Jim Fourman and Bill Wheeler.

Visitation for Marti will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 South US 27, Fountain City.

Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
