Mrs. Maxine Sharp, 83, of Fountain City, passed away on Wednesday, October 19 at Golden Living Center in Richmond.
She was born December 12, 1927 in Greens Fork.
Maxine is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Susie & Scott Railsback, of Fountain City; son, Paul Sharp, of Fountain City; 4 grandchildren, Autumn Sharp, Amy Diaz (Nathan), Katie Coddington (Anthony) and Ben Railsback (Jerusha); 8 great-grandchildren, Matthew Diaz, Nicholas Diaz, Claire Coddington, Ava Coddington, Ella Coddington, Cole Coddington, Aunika Railsback and Cohen Railsback; special niece, Diana (Hud) Ozbun; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sharp; cousin, Agnes Rodenburg; several nieces & nephews and her special friends at the Lions Apartments in Fountain City.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don Sharp, on September 11, 2006; and 17 brothers and sisters.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
Family and friends may gather from 1:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, at the funeral home.
