Merilou Fulks

Merilou Fulks, 77, formerly of the Fountain City community, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at her home in Russellville, Arkansas. 

She was born April 12, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana to the late H. Burl Shook and Maude Corrington Shook. 

Merilou loved to play golf and she was a longtime member of Bay Ridge Golf and Boat Club. 

Survivors include her husband, Max Fulks; daughter and son-in-law, Mindy and Sean Gousha; two sisters, Patty Shelton and husband Terry, Peggy Ninde; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Jeanes, Judy Baker and husband Mike, Maurine Shook; two grandchildren, Cale Gousha, Keely Gousha, several nieces and nephews and many special friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Larry; brother-in-law, Eugene “Doc” Fulks and sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Nicholson and Linda Owens.
