Nadine Hickey, 80, of Economy, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
She was born on July 30, 1934 in Hazard, Kentucky to Arthur and Ruth Walters Pratt. After her father’s death, she was raised by her mother and step-father, John Perkins.
Mrs. Hickey was formerly a member of Order of Eastern Star and had worked as a private duty caregiver.
Mrs. Hickey is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve & Lori Hickey and Roger & Rachel Hickey, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Pratt and Manford Pratt; half-brothers, Willie Dean Perkins and Jerry Perkins; half-sisters, Maggy Sue Perkins, Betty Harvey and Donna Maglieo; and several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Hickey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Hickey, in 1986; children, Peggy, Betty, David and Arthur Hickey; brother, Eugene Pratt; half-sister, Christine Mitchell.
A graveside ceremony will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 18, in Gravel Hill Cemetery, located at County Road North 50 West and County Road West 650 North near Bryant, Indiana.
