Naomi Holmes

   Naomi B. Holmes, 96, passed away Thursday morning, January 12, in Arizona, where she had lived for the past 10 years.

   She was born on September 15, 1926 in Randolph County, Indiana to Lewis Webb & Mildred Blanche Harman Mullen. Her father died a month before her birth. Naomi married Ralph L. Holmes, Jr. on April 24, 1948. They were blessed with four children and 65 years of marriage before his death on October 20, 2011.

   Naomi was a member of the Middleboro United Methodist Church.

   Mrs. Holmes will be missed by her daughter, and Rebecca Vosmeier; son, Michael Holmes; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

   Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; 1 son, Rick Holmes, on December 24, 2010; 1 daughter, Vicki Ann Holmes, on September 15, 2012.

   A graveside ceremony will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20 in Willow Grove Cemetery.

   Memorial contributions may be given to the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
