Noah Alexander Johnson, 18, of Fountain City, went to be with Jesus and his mother on Saturday, April 15.
Noah was born in Richmond, Indiana on April 9, 2005 and was the youngest son of Craig & Kari Johnson. Noah was all set to graduate next month with The Class of 2023 of Northeastern High School. His bright future included attending Ball State University to earn a Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
Noah had a servant’s heart. His brother described him as “the kindest, most caring and giving person out of all of us”. He was loved and respected by his peers, teachers and generations of family friends. He shared his love for the Lord with the youngest members of Lifespring, serving as an Elementary Small Group Leader. His love for cooking and baking was a trait he inherited from his late mother. He also had a love for dogs. He was a loving and loyal employee of Jimmy Johns.
Noah will be missed by his father & bonus mother, Craig & Stacey Johnson; his big brothers, Caleb Johnson and Joshua Johnson; bonus sisters, Emma Gentry and Rylee Gentry; paternal grandmother, Deb Johnson; maternal grandparents, Lynn Godsey and Mary & Tom Hall; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Noah was preceded in death by his mother, Kari Johnson, in 2013; paternal grandfather, Jed Johnson, in 2022; and maternal grandfather, Mark Godsey, in 2012.
Public visitation for Noah will be held from 3-7 PM on Sunday, April 23, at Lifespring Church, 5600 US 27 North. A funeral ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM Sunday at the church.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside committal service on Monday, April 24 in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to join in a funeral procession from the Northeastern High School south parking lot to the cemetery. The procession will begin forming at 10:00 a.m. on Monday and depart for the cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
