Norman D. Frame

October 26, 1944 — February 10, 2009

Norman D. Frame, 64, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at his residence.


Born October 26, 1944 in Richmond, he was the son of Raymond A. "Ray" and Mary Alice Keys Frame, both of whom preceded him in death. Norm graduated Williamsburg High School in 1963.


A lifelong farmer, Norm also owned and operated Frame's Lynnwood Barber Shop in Richmond since 1973 and was a barber for a total of 43 years. He served on the Webster Volunteer Fire Dept. for 11 years and the Wayne County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol for 15 years. He served on the Wayne County 4-H Fair Board for 6 years and maintained the fairgrounds track for 10 years. He was widely known for the mini hot rods he raced for over 30 years and for the NTPA pulling tractors he campaigned.


Norm will be missed by Hunter DeLucio, his grandson and best buddy who he was raising as his son; his wife, the former Patty Bell, to whom he was married October 25, 1998; his daughter, Amy Frame, of Richmond; step-daughter, Deanna Ripberger, of Richmond; step-son, Andy Ripberger, of Richmond; his siblings, Richard Frame & family, of Tipp City, Ohio; Kenneth Frame & family, of Brookville; Charlene Frame and family, of Cape Fair, Missouri; Marlene "Bubbles" Frame, of Webster; his former wife, Bev Bullock, of Richmond and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.


A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Russell Powell at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 14 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Webster Cemetery.


Family and friends may gather for visitation from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 13, at the funeral home.
