Pamela Cole

Pamela Cole, 55, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, December 4 at Rose Bud Village.
   She was born July 20, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to Lawrence and Janet Lee Smith Helton. She was a 1976 graduate of Lebanon High School. She formerly worked as a CNA and billing clerk in the healthcare field. She later was employed as a customer service representative with Marsh Supermarkets. Pam enjoyed playing with her two Labs, antiquing and going to flea markets. She also liked watching NASCAR, watching IU and the Colts and vacationing with her husband.
   Pam will be missed by her husband, Burton Cole, to whom she was married on July 5, 2002; sons, Joshua Hussey, Christopher Hussey; step-sons, Michael Cole (Heather) and David Cole (Bobbi); grandchildren, Zoey, Bryce, Valerie, Charles, Jackson and Isabella; brothers, David Helton (Pat) and Chad Helton (Amy); and several nieces and nephews.
   Pam was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gary Helton.
   Paul Nichols will conduct a funeral ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
   Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, at the funeral home.
   Memorial contributions may be sent to The Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center, c/o Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, 401 North Broadway, Weinberg Room 2242, Baltimore, Maryland, 21231-2410.

Pam was a joy to have as a patient here at Reid Hospital 5E.  We loved her sense of humor and she was always in the best of spirits.  We will miss her dearly.
