Mrs. Pat Zilm, 80, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, at her daughter's home.
Florence Patricia Zilm was born February 7, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY to Otto M. and Clara Paupst Martin. She was a homemaker who raised 6 daughters and 1 son and also opened her home to countless foster children over the years.
Mrs. Zilm moved to the Richmond area 1½ years ago to live with her daughter and son-in-law and worshipped at the Whitewater Christian Church. She enjoyed knitting and playing the dulcimer.
Mrs. Zilm will be missed by her son, Ralph Zilm, of Sanborn, NY; 6 daughters, Jennifer Nance, of Palm Harbor, FL; Cheryl Ann Burns, of Beverly Hills, FL; Andrea Mettler, of Niagara Falls, NY; Jessica Mullins, of Richmond; Claudia Fisher, of Fairbanks, AK; Robin Mesi, of Moore, OK; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Zilm was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frederick Stewart Zilm, who passed away February 16, 2003.
A memorial ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Larry Girdwood at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, at the Whitewater Christian Church, 7918 North State Road 227, Richmond.
