Mr. Paul William Brawley, 75, of Williamsburg, passed away on Friday morning,
August 14.
Paul was born on December 24, 1950, in Greenville, Indiana to Merle Eugene & Joan
Cleo Reece Brawley. Paul attended Northeastern High School. He enlisted in the US
Army in 1969 and served in Germany in the 78th Engineer Battalion.
After his honorable discharge, Paul worked as a diesel mechanic for many years with
127 Truckstop, Road One, State Line and Road Ready in the New Paris area. He also was a truck
driver. Paul loved animals and formerly worked as a horse groomer. He was an avid
Colts fan and enjoyed camping, fishing and watching Westerns.
Paul will be missed by his wife of 52 years, Glenda J. Ramey Brawley, who he
married on May 25, 1974; sons, Christopher Brawley and Troy (Holly Marcum) Brawley;
his siblings, Judy Brown & husband, Tony, Betty Uhl & husband, Brian, Richard Brawley
& wife, Joannie, David Brawley & wife, Rose; several nieces & nephew and sister-in-law
& brother-in-law, Becky & Jeff Waggaman.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Joseph Lee “Joe” Brawley
and Keith Allen Brawley.
Paul’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, at the Fountain City
Church of Christ, 318 Mill Street, Fountain City.
