Phillip Crawford

Mr. Phillip C. Crawford, 87, of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, July 1.
   He was born in Union City, Indiana on April 4, 1930 to George and Myrna Crawford. He served briefly in the US Navy and was a US Army veteran.
   Mr. Crawford was a heavy equipment operator and worked in construction. He used to race at Eldora Speedway and enjoyed watching racing and going fishing.
   Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Carolyn Sue O’Neil Crawford; six step-children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren including Scott Rollins and his wife, Elizabeth and their two children.
   Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, six sisters and five step-children.
   Ray Slick will conduct a funeral ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8 at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27, Fountain City. Interment with military rites will follow in Union City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the funeral home.

Aunt Sue, I'm sorry to hear about Uncle Phil passing.  Although we may not have seen or talked to each other in a while, doesn't mean that we have stopped loving and thinking of you.  We do love and miss you more than you know. Please know that we are ALL here for you always.
