Mrs. Phyllis Ann Hedrick, 72, passed away Saturday, October 15 at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital in Winchester.
She was born May 27, 1939 in Hollansburg, Ohio to Roland and Agnes Kenworthy Poppaw. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed at the former Blue Roof Restaurant and Parmi Tool in Lynn. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, solving crossword puzzles and camping.
Mrs. Hedrick will be missed by her husband of 32 years, Carl Wayne Hedrick, of Lynn; her daughter and son-in-law, Debra & Jay Jordan, of Spartanburg; granddaughter, Amanda Jordan; grandson, Jamie Jordan; great-grandchildren, Carley, Jayden and Skylor; sisters, Evelyn Uphaus and Helen Byrd, both of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hedrick was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Mary Catherine Bower.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Gary Meek at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Quaker Lynn Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, at the funeral home.
